The Advanced Diploma in IT & Computing focuses on preparing students in becoming a confident user and manager of information technologies, able to administer and manage network or database systems and develop software solutions.

This degree will teach you the principles of hardware-based, software-based, or systems-based technologies. You’ll be able to apply your knowledge and skills in a broad range of industries and organizations.

Admission Requirements

Students must meet one (1) of the following admission requirements:

  • High school graduation or

  • GED or equivalent or

  • Mature student – Detailed resume outlining experience and qualifications must be submitted.

University progression routes are identified by either of the following:

  • Credit transfer (articulation) agreement between Aspire College and the University ​

  • Letter of acceptance with credit transfer (advanced standing) provided by the university to an Aspire College student​

 

Aspire College graduates can apply for admission and credit (advanced standing) towards a related bachelor's or master's degree at any university, including those not specifically identified by Aspire College.

This is because Canadian qualifications are globally recognized and accepted by many universities worldwide.​

Each university has its own unique credit transfer policies. Therefore, the amount of credit received may vary depending on which university and bachelor's or master's degree you apply for.
